About

A modern magazine for curious professionals.

The Foxglove Journal team working around a laptop

Foxglove Journal started with a simple frustration: business writing that felt like homework. We wanted the rigour of a good briefing and the pleasure of a good magazine — so we built a newsroom that treats finance, design, culture and technology as one conversation, not six silos.

Every story passes the same bar: firsthand where possible, practical always, and short where it should be short. Our editors report, our writers specialise, and our photographers earn their place on every page.

What we cover

Six desks — lifestyle, technology, finance, culture, design and business — publish weekly. Start with the latest articles or meet the people behind them.

Write for us

We accept two pitches a month from outside writers: one reported feature and one practical guide. Send a 150-word pitch, two links to published work, and your deadline to the contact desk. We reply to everything, usually within a fortnight.

Permissions

Words on this site are ours; photographs are licensed from their creators and credited in alt text. You may quote up to 200 words with attribution and a link. Anything beyond that — reprints, translations, course packs — needs written permission.
